It’s six o’clock in the morning. You hit the snooze button for the last time. No time left to catch a few more zzz’s. It’s time to plant those feet on the floor. Hair needs to be combed, clothes need ironing and breakfast needs to be cooked.
You enter the children’s room and see three pairs of sleepy little eyes staring out at you from under their warm blankets begging for “just a few more minutes.” Before you can even respond your husband comes running in to ask, “Honey, which tie should I wear?” With barely the time to brush your own teeth, you are headed out the door to drop off the kids, commute to work or start the days errands. Thus begins the morning for most of the nations busy moms’.
If you are a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) you don’t have the leisure time that some people may expect you to have. If you’re a work-at-home-mom (WAHM) or a mom who works outside of the home, your time is equally limited. Having been all three of the above, I sincerely understand the issues that face you all.
Our spouses like to have dinner ready when they arrive home from work, the house needs cleaning, dishes have to be washed, and laundry has to be done. Some families may employ a live-in housekeeper or nanny to assist them with the domestic duties of the household. Others, when budgets are tight, seek a more economical means of getting these things done while still allowing time for self and family.
